What kind of pullback should we expect in silver?

I'm looking to buy some more silver but keep reading of a pullback. What kind of pullback do you guys think we will see before silver continues it's upward march towards 50?

Re: What kind of pullback should we expect in silver?

I would say that sub $17 is still a good possibility.
I wouldn't place any bets on sub $16... I'd be a strong buyer at that level
and so would many others, so if it happens it wouldn't last more than a day or two, JMHO.

Re: What kind of pullback should we expect in silver?

No pull back until north of $20.....then it might drop back to $18....then onward to $30 by end of 2010.

Silver is going to $18.36 before making new highs.

Re: What kind of pullback should we expect in silver?

The $16-$16.50 range was a "pit stop" for silver before resuming its rally to $20. There will be no significant pullbacks and silver will just go to $20 by the end of this year (maybe the end of this week).

How about $25.00 then a slump to $22.00 the old high:

THEN it's a :censored: MOON shot to $55.00 a parking;

Then somewhere between :censored: GALAXY shot of

$148 and $300 ish.

How's that for a HELL of a PULL BACK? :signs14:

Hope to load more when it comes to 16, but I see the chance is low.

Nobody knows for sure. But, if it passes $22.00 again and "gold is strong"

at about 60 to 1 (or less than 60 to 1) the second time might (read big

MIGHT!) become support.

I'm thinking that the seasonal support mixed with the foreigners' really "now dumping" the US dollar (unknown to the TV NARCOTIC entranced entertainment and sports folks dumbed down in America - by the way!)
mixed with the supply probabilities, mixed with the scandals approaching, mixed with the current government and political mess with the money, mixed with an UNEXPECTED "BLACK SWAN" event, and then we'll not only see the $1,200 I expect - but a $1,500 quicker.

Three or four days at $100 a day would really jerk the price - especially if the DOW with the PPT help goes bananas also - which I expect as the income options are dead at a negative 32% interest offered.

But who knows right? :Surrender::111:

I was hoping for $8.70,,,,,,...?

I guess I should have went in a little more the other day.

Damn, I hope you are right or wrong. I don't care.

I'm just happy to be on the team.

IF Gold declines 10% Silver easy 15% down. 15-16 best WAG. Not selling anything though.

Wow, quite a few replies already. Thanks guys, I'm going to order some tonight. It seems most think it wont stop rising any time soon and IF it does fall back, it will only be to 18 or so. :5_1_120:

It has occurred to me that you always seem to be negative on silver. I wonder why you even bother to own any?

They really mean well. Sometimes she/he really makes me question a set of circumstances. Diversity actually helps as long as it is not in your household every night and the Friday Night Fights turns into a nightly occupation, right?

Nothing goes straight up or straight down. T/A really helps as does the channel and the direction.

Silver suffered from the (LIKE A) COMMODITY SWINE FLU CONTASION - the HUNT BOYZ really screwed up silver for 30 some years now.

Once we worked out the buy in late BOYZ this year who wanted to get out of Dodge and break even (they did that today - notice the shrinkage from 18.87 to 18.50) we can get a serious NEW 30 year high.

THINK > 22.00 ish

Re: What kind of pullback should we expect in silver?

Silver may pull back to $16 and the go to $20. So, if $18 is the currrent price then there is no issue. If silver was $1.00 in 1964 and $18.00 in 2009 then in 2029 is will be $27, all things being equal ( which it is not).

Re: What kind of pullback should we expect in silver?

19 then 16 then about twenty or so to end the year.
We can dream though.

Calling a spade a spade is not anti-spade.... just calling a spade a spade. The mere fact that this gentleman has hung on through this white knuckle ride for all these years speaks volumes of where his thoughts lay. He has called the tops and bottoms almost 100% of the time.... and has threatened to sell at least 3-4 times a year. When he dumps ..... I dump

I think there's a decent chance we wont see a significant pullback until it advances to $20.

Dang, is Di Fi starting to look like a Kennedy or is it just me?

Pelosi can't seem to stop showing us her teeth since the last face lift.

And just a thought...

...why buy fake gold when you can get fake silver for much less?

Silver well it has a chance for:

$19.00 tomorrow. Hell of a pullback so far! :signs14::111:

gold add another $20 bucks to the $1145 would be nice too.

Yeah it is possible for silver to hit 19 tomorrow. I have no doubts that silver will indeed finish at $20 (or more) by the end of this year.

Re: What kind of pullback should we expect in silver?

It tested $18, bounced off of 18.03.

I still say we have a fairly good chance to see $17 or below on a short dip
sometime in the future. The dollar may still have one mini rally left to 77 or so before the next leg down.

Keep your powder dry because if it happens it will be shortlived.

I have to admit that I am surprised at the resistance so far. Seems that all attempts to pull the metals down over the last few days has pretty much failed.

(Now that I have said that publicly .... expect the floor to drop out. Worst than posting those damn rockets. I'll probably be puking my guts over the weekend. ) :smokin:

lhslancers,

Haven't you noticed in the last couple of years that a lot of the Newbe's seem only to respond to what they think they read.

I've spent hours trying to help a lot these guys/gals only to have them respond just as they're responding to you.

I enjoy sharing the knowledge that I've acquired these past 30+ years, but when it keeps falling on deaf ears or they think they know better, well I just stop contributing to their cries for help (if they were drowning, I'm sure in their infinite wisdom I'd keep throwing them the wrong lifesaver).

Twenty5Karat post.

I quit the general area a few years ago. The Precious Metal Area last week.

All I look at now is NUMISMATICS for ideas and new twists.

Best wishes,
